Dear Sir or Madam, around 6pm on Sunday 22nd June 2025 I visited the KFC drive thru at Meridian Point, Kings Road, Cleethorpes - *****. My order was 6 boneless chickens which came with 4 fries. Price - £15.99 receipt code - *****. I live about a mile away from this KFC in Cleethorpes. I collected my order and made my way home. As I placed the food on plates shared between myself and my wife, I could see that the fries looked as though they had been standing for some time, they were somewhat hard and only just warm and some had black ends and certainly not appetising.
Surely there should be some quality control over the cooked food what is going out by the on duty supervisor and in any case the staff them selves who cook the fries should monitor the food. If this were to happen while eating in, I could have gone and spoken to one of the staff, but I was not going to drive back to the KFC as the rest of our order would be cold. (the chicken itself was very nice but we could not eat the fries. I hope that this information will be passed to the supervisor at the Cleethorpes KFC. Next time we go we shall eat in just in caser there is any issues with the food so it can be dealt with in house. I thank you for your attention to this matter. Regards. Mr *****.
