I was logged out of my account, and I telephoned Leeds BS for help. It was over the weekend, and I was told that Leeds BS would contact me.
I was also informed that I could not proceed with the setup security procedure because I had been logged out, which was the reason for my call.
Unfortunately, I also provided other information to the person on the telephone, who had to keep asking others for their advice and then come back to me. I was told Leeds would send me an email.
I received an email from Leeds BS asking me to start an ID procedure with '*****'. I rang Leeds on 21.07.2025 and spoke to a young lady who was very patient and polite, but I realised that I had to fill in the ID information at Mitek Systems. I had to take a photo of myself, a copy of the front and back of my driving licence, and a copy of a recent bank statement.
What was the point of setting up security with Leeds, using a Password, memorable Data, a Memorable Place, and a Memorable Name, the first Company I ever worked for? Only to be logged out of my account and forced to submit personal details to a company I have never heard of.
I would have made this complaint directly with Leeds BS, but I was not able to as I was LOGGED OUT.
