Metro Bank - Unauthorised DD

Dear Metro Bank Complaints Team,

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding a series of unauthorized direct debits that have been taken from my account over the past five years by a company called Thames Water.

I have recently reviewed my account and found that various payments have been deducted without my knowledge or consent. I have never entered into a contract or agreement with Thames Water, nor have I authorized them to set up a direct debit on my account. I have contacted them on numerous occasions and they have never been able to provide me with proof of a signed contract.

Under the Direct Debit Guarantee Scheme, I understand that I am entitled to a full and immediate refund of all payments collected in error. I would therefore like to request that Metro Bank investigates this matter and refunds the total amount of all unauthorized payments made to Thames Water from my account.
