I am writing to make a complaint about an item from my recent Sainsbury’s online order. After cooking and eating the dish, I noticed the taste was a bit strange. When I checked the packaging afterwards, I realised the product was past its use by date it had expired in March (23/03/225) I couldn’t believe an item so far out of date was still being sent out.
I have always shopped at Sainsbury’s and only recently started ordering online, so this experience has been very disappointing and unexpected.
I am currently breastfeeding, so consuming an out-of-date product caused me significant worry and concern for both my own health and my baby’s wellbeing.
Please could you investigate this urgently !!!
